The Energy Industry Act stipulates for all energy suppliers that fault messages in the supply network must be accepted and handled immediately, in order to initiate corresponding rectification measures without delay. Continual reliability of supply must be ensured with the lowest possible downtimes. For this purpose, energy suppliers must provide resources for the operation of a control centre to coordinate the rectification services, or alternatively make use of technically suitable external providers who can take over this task in full. Bohlen & Doyen has demonstrated its expertise in this area over many years.
