EWE Energie AG operates a natural gas cavern storage facility in Nüttermoor, which has been expanded to its current capacity in several stages. The existing renovation requirements and the forthcoming integration of new caverns demonstrate the limited extension capability of the existing installation.

Against this background, an extension, renewal and renovation of Site 1 is being carried out with the aim of creating capacities for the rental of individual caverns and redundancy for EWE operations, and eliminating existing weaknesses and bottlenecks in the existing plants.

Service description:
Supply, installation and commissioning of construction lots 1 - 5 (2007 - 2008), construction lot 7 (2008 - 2009) and further reconstruction with dismantling of pipelines to be renewed during ongoing operation of Site 1 (since 2009).

Supply, installation and commissioning of the process gas and relief system for cavern distributors, quantity measurements and relief systems in the cavern distributors line and quantity measurements and auxiliary systems in the operations buildings.

VPrefabrication of the plant components in various sizes and pressure levels ANSI600 to ANSI1500 at the Wiesmoor works.

Installation of the plant components locally on pipe gantries, to filter systems, pre-heaters and separators. The connection was also made to absorbers and the compressor shops.
